A pair of tickets to an upcoming Bruins game will also be raffled off during the 2nd intermission.

Hockey For Haiti

Tufts University Club Hockey to hold fundraiser for Haiti


At 7 PM on January 31st the Tufts University Club Hockey team will face-off against, league rival, Rhode Island College at Veterans Arena in Somerville. Tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. The Tufts Hockey Club will donate half of the proceeds to the United Way World Wide Disaster Relief Fund. Raffle tickets will also be sold, with the grand prize being 2 tickets to an upcoming Boston Bruins home game.


The United Way has been helping people for over 100 years. Tufts Hockey Club is in its second season of competition in the Colonial Division of the North East Collegiate Hockey Association (www.necha.org), also a member of the ACHA Division II (www.acha.org). This is the first meeting of the season between these two teams, Rhode Island College leads the all time series 2-0.
